Support Staff
SUPPORT STAFF – CONVENTION CENTER
The Town of Tonopah currently has an opening for the position of Support Staff at the Tonopah Convention Center. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) flexible schedule, without benefits. Starting compensation is: $14.61 per hour.
Duties include answering phones, clean-up and set-up of the Convention Center, and interacting with the public. Successful candidates will be positive, self-motivated, and well organized.

Seasonal Maintenance
The Town of Tonopah currently has an opening for a Seasonal Maintenance person. This is a full-time seasonal position without benefits. Compensation starting at $15.81/hr.
Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, communicate clearly, and work well with co-workers, supervisors and the general public. Primary duties include maintenance of the Parks, Rodeo Grounds, Swimming Pool and Ballfields in Tonopah. A working knowledge of commonly used hand tools, power tools, lawnmowers and other basic landscaping tools/equipment preferred.

Seasonal Tour Guide
The Tonopah Historic Mining Park is looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a love of history to join our team. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Tour Guide and Gift Shop Assistant.
This is a full-time seasonal position starting at $15.81/hour. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service, general knowledge of, or a willingness to learn the history and purpose of the park. Daily tasks include assisting visitors in the gift shop, operation of the point-of-sale system, credit card processing, reconciliation of daily sales, maintaining security, safety, and cleanliness of gift shop and outside areas. Weekend work may be required.
