In most cities, you might spot just 25–50 stars. Here, you can see up to 7,000—and on a moonless night, the Milky Way stretches overhead in dazzling detail.
Star Parties take place at the Tonopah Stargazing Park located at the end of Ray Tennant Drive. The Park features concrete pads, benches, and tables. Telescopes, binoculars, and iPads with stargazing apps will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own equipment.
No reservations are necessary. Everyone is welcome.
