Dear Prospective Member:
We invite you to join the Central Nevada Historical Society (CNHS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started in December 1977. CNHS is dedicated to the preservation of the history of central Nevada, including Nye and Esmeralda counties and other surrounding areas. In 1981, CNHS established the Central Nevada Museum (CNM) in Tonopah, Nevada. CNM displays and describes the history of central Nevada from the prehistoric to the present. Our facility houses a variety of indoor and outdoor displays, has an extensive research library and a small gift shop. CNM is open year-round, Wednesday through Sunday, 10am-5pm, (closed 1-2pm for lunch). Admission is free donations are welcomed!
Annual memberships are for the calendar year and members receive:
A historic photo postcard with descriptive caption.
An issue of our annual publication, "Central Nevadas Glorious Past."
A 10% discount in our gift shop (when shopping in person).
In addition, Life Members receive a commemorative plaque.
